Active Participation in Transport Logistic Munich 2023 with the 'Turkish Pavilion'

Ayşem Ulusoy, Chairman of UTIKAD Board of Directors and also Chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) Logistics Business Council, attended the Transport Logistic Munich 2023 fair held in Munich, Germany with the “Turkey Pavilion” established by the DEİK Logistics Business Council.

The official opening of the Munich Logistics Fair, which was held at the Messe fairground and described as “the world's largest logistics fair”, was held by the German Minister of Transport, Volker Wissing.

More than 2019 Turkish companies participated in the fair, in which the Turkish Pavilion was established for the first time in 60 by the DEİK/Logistics Business Council with the incentives of the Ministry of Commerce.

Turkish companies exhibited their new services and products at the fair, where several Turkish companies took part in almost each of the 10 halls. This year, the focus was on the theme of “Connectivity” at the international fair where companies in the fields of freight transportation and logistics services, freight transportation systems, IT/telematics, e-commerce, telecommunications, intralogistics, warehouse management systems, automatic identity and packaging took part.

Turgut Erkeskin, Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of UTIKAD and Senior Vice President of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations), moderated the panel on Globalization and Turkey's Role in International Trade and Logistics, held on May 2023, 11, within the scope of Transport Logistics 2023 Fair activities.

UTIKAD Board Member Serdar Ayritman, senior executives of UTIKAD member companies Turhan Özen, Fuat Pamukçu and Onur Talay also took part as speakers in the panel.
