A pre-qualification tender was held for the construction of Alikahya Stadium Tram Line to be built by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. At the Metropolitan Municipality Tender Hall, 24 companies with the qualifications to do business participated in the tender with a declaration of qualification envelope. After the bids from the companies are examined by the tender commission, the companies with the qualifications will be invited for the financial offer.

With the tram line project, it is aimed to ease the traffic flow in the region from the bus station, which is currently the last stop, to the stadium, and to make public transportation more comfortable.
