The project "Attaining My Hand (Heritage)", which was implemented in order to minimize the negative effects of the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake disaster, meets with earthquake survivor children.

With the project initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, it is aimed to alleviate the negative effects of the earthquake, especially on children, to increase the morale and motivation of children, and to contribute to the normalization process through art.

The first address of the project, in which folk dances and local music prepared specially for children by the Ministry of Fine Arts General Directorate State Folk Dance Ensemble, are interpreted in the narrated play of Karagöz and Hacivat, one of Turkey's intangible cultural heritage elements, was the little ones from Malatya last week.

Children of Malatya followed Karagöz, who met the characters of Nasreddin Hodja, Çelebi, Tuzsuz Deli Bekir, Acem and Laz on his Anatolian journey with his long-time friend Hacivat to find the legacy left to him, and followed the folk dances of Thrace, Zeybek, Kırşehir, Ankara, Burdur and the Black Sea with the characteristics of these regions. had the opportunity to learn closely.
