TAI Conducted ANKA-3 MIUS Taxi Test!

TUSAŞ ANKA-2023 MIUS taxi test, which is planned to make its first flight in April 3, has carried out. ANKA-3, the second Combat Unmanned Aircraft System developed in Turkey, will offer important capabilities to the Turkish Air Force, especially on the basis of deep attack, with its low visibility and high payload capacity provided by its tailless structure.

The job descriptions of ANKA-3 MIUS include air-ground, SEAD-DEAD (Suppression-Destruction of Air Defense Systems), IGK (Intelligence-Reconnaissance-Observation) and Electronic Warfare.

Unlike its counterparts, ANKA-3 has both internal and external weapon stations; It will be able to carry ammunition such as SOM, HGK and TOLUN. 2×650 kg at in-body stations; It has a carrying capacity of 2×650 at the under-wing inner stations and 100 kg at the outer stations. Apart from its offensive capabilities, its long stay in the air and low visibility can be considered as features that will contribute to the effectiveness of ANKA-3 in IGK and Electronic Warfare missions.
