Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who stated that they were pleased with the interest shown in the ropeway, each of which has 8 people and 16 cabins in total, said, “Our ropeway, which has been in service since 2008, was known as the longest line of Europe and Turkey when it was first opened. Our cable car, which has a line length of 1653 meters and provides both transportation and touristic sightseeing services between Subayevleri and Tepebaşı neighborhoods, is currently in the top three among the longest urban cable car lines. Our cable car, whose highest point is 85 meters, welcomes an average of one thousand passengers per day. It offers a 8-minute cruise experience with a total of 16 cabins, each of which can seat 20 people.” said.
