Joel Edgerton stars as Sam Carter, an American helicopter pilot who flies with Kate to the Norwegian research station Thule. However, he has no idea why he was there in the beginning and what mysterious creature scientists found. Edgerton is known for roles in films such as The Great Gatsby, The Gift, Loving, Boy Erased and Bright.
Ulrich Thomsen, Danish principal investigator Dr. He plays Sander Halvorson. Thomsen is best known for his role as Kai Proctor in the Banshee action series. You may also know Thomsen from his roles in The Blacklist, Counterpart, The New Pope and Shining Girls.
