Container city installations continue for the safe solution of the need for shelter in the earthquake zone. The data released by the Ministry of Interior at the beginning of April show that 305 container cities have been established in the region. Work continues on container cities, which were built as a safer and healthier solution to the need for shelter caused by the earthquakes that took place on February 6th. The data released by the Ministry of Interior on April 6 showed that 10 container cities were established in 305 provinces, while the number of containers approached 50 thousand. While the Turkish industry mobilized to meet the housing need in the region, Karmod, one of the leading prefabricated building manufacturers, broke a speed record by tripling its production.

Home to 79 thousand people

The data of the Ministry of Interior showed that approximately 79 thousand people live in the container cities established in the region. In addition, it was noted that a total of 132 thousand 447 containers are planned to be installed in the region, and a significant part of the containers used for toilet and shower purposes have been put into service.

The company delivers two-room, 300×700 cm, 21 square meters containers with high insulation, WC and shower, kitchen sink, to the earthquake zone.
