İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZDENİZ General Directorate will maintain its ships in İzmir in 2023. 7 million TL savings will be achieved by transferring the maintenance done in Istanbul to Izmir in the previous years.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZDENİZ General Directorate is taking steps towards saving while providing better service to the people of İzmir with the breakthroughs it has made within its body. Thanks to the planned maintenance and repair works carried out in Istanbul until 2021, to Alaybey Shipyard in Izmir, expense items such as travel expenses, personnel expenses and workshop facilities were avoided. Thus, İZDENİZ will save at least over 2023 million TL in 7.

With the work carried out, 2023 ships working in İZDENİZ will be taken ashore in order in 9. The ships, which will stay in the dock for a total of 130 days, will return to service after their maintenance and repairs.
