TUBITAK Support for 95 Projects of SUBU Students

Results of TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B student project programs have been announced. With a total of 95 projects accepted by its students, SUBÜ was among the top 10 universities in Turkey with the most accepted projects.

A total of 95 projects prepared by Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) students were accepted within the scope of TÜBİTAK's '2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program' and '2209-B University Students' Industry-Oriented Research Projects Support Program'. SUBU was among the top 10 universities with the most accepted projects in Turkey. Undergraduate and associate degree programs in the project programs that attracted great interest from Akyazı Health Services Vocational School, Arifiye Vocational School, Ferizli Vocational School, Pamukova Vocational School, Sakarya Vocational School, Sapanca Vocational School, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Agriculture. 88 projects from the undergraduate level received support as 2209-A and 7 projects from the undergraduate level as 2209-B. With these projects, it is aimed to strengthen the project and innovation development aspects of students who will gain an R&D culture after graduation.

Making statements about the results, SUBU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarabıyık said, “It is extremely valuable for us that our students grow up with a project culture and learn by doing. Gaining this experience before graduating will greatly contribute to their career journey. I congratulate our students who are entitled to benefit from the project service offered by TÜBİTAK to students and our academicians who support them with their consultancy”.
