Will the triplets have season 2?
As of March 17, Netflix has not announced whether the series will return for a second season. This is not surprising because Netflix usually does not renew its new shows as soon as they are finished. The streaming giant will want to see if people actually watched and enjoyed the first season before making a decision.
Typically, Netflix looks at how many people watched a show in its first 28 days on the platform. Looking at watch hours from the first month helps the broadcaster decide whether to renew or cancel a show. Basically, if watch hours are high from the first month, Netflix is more likely to renew the series. But given the low viewing hours by Netflix standards, Triptych will likely make the opening. Unfortunately, it will likely take a month or so for Netflix to announce what it wants to do with the series.
But if you're wondering what the odds are for a Triplets season 2, we can say that the show will most likely not return with new episodes. From where? Well, the first season pretty much answers all the burning questions and doesn't really leave any unfinished business.
