National Research University Moscow Energy Engineering Institute hosted a working meeting for the training of experts for the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NGS).

In line with the decision taken at this meeting, in 2023, within the scope of the training program for Akkkuyu NPP, training 3 students for 40 master's programs, namely water and fuel technology in energy engineering, automation control systems for thermal and nuclear power plant facilities, and electrical propulsion and automation systems. is planned.

Akkuyu Nuclear Inc. General Manager Anastasiia Zoteeva made the following statement regarding the issue:

“Educating highly qualified Turkish experts in the field of nuclear energy is one of the priorities of the Akkuyu NPP project. Nearly 300 Turkish graduates of our program continue their careers successfully in Turkey's first nuclear power plant and plan to participate in the development of the Republic of Turkey's new knowledge-intensive industry. The experienced Russian nuclear engineers involved in the construction of the Akkuyu NPP are eager to share their practical skills with them. Together, we are happy and proud to see young Turkish engineers become successful nuclear experts and even win professional competitions such as Rosatom's 'Person of the Year'. As of this year, there are even more opportunities for Turkish citizens to receive quality education in nuclear power engineering.”
