How to Intend the Berat Kandili Prayer?
Intention is one of the conditions of worship. Worship without intention is not valid. Although it is sufficient to intend with the heart, it is mandub to express the intention with the tongue. Waking up for sahur for fasting is also considered intention. For prayer, it is necessary to make an intention when you reach the beginning of prostration.

How to Perform Berat Kandili Prayer?
100 Rakat Prayer: "O my Lord, pray for your consent. Make me a gift to your divine forgiveness and blessings. Although it is not necessary to perform 100 rak'ats of prayer without interruption, it can be performed by resting. The time of the 100-rakat prayer starts with the night prayer and continues until the imsak prayer. Prayer can be started after Isha. Instead of reciting the ikhlas sharifs read in a 100-rak'ah prayer, it can be performed in 10 salams by reciting 100 times in each rak'ah. However, it is more virtuous to perform 10 salutations and 50 rak'ahs because the characteristic of this prayer is that there are many prostrations.

- 14 times, Subhanallahi wal-hamdu lillahi vela ilaha illallahu vallahu akbar, vela hawle vela power illa billahil-aliyyil-azim.
- 14 times, Salat-ı Münciye (written in Catechism books) is read and then prayers are made. Those who do not know Salat-ı Münciye can recite Small Salavat.
llâahümme salli alâa sayyidinâa Muhammedin ve alâa âali sayyidinaa Muhammedin salâaten tunciinâa bihâa min cemî'il-ehvaali ve'l aafâat.
