ABB Career Center Participates in Employment Process of Earthquake Victims

The 'ABB Career Center', which was established by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in order to increase employment in the capital, is a partner in the employment process of earthquake survivors from disaster areas. ABB Career Center directed 288 earthquake survivors to companies looking for personnel. “We are with you for a new start in Ankara,” ABB President Mansur Yavaş said.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which took action with all its units after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, continues to work both in disaster areas and in the Capital.

With the Career Center serving in the Youth Park, ABB took action to speed up the employment processes of earthquake survivors who had to leave the city they lived in after the earthquake disaster.

After the earthquakes, a total of 603 earthquake victims applied to the ABB Career Center, while the meetings of 288 citizens with employers were positive.

Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who shared on his social media accounts about the work carried out at the ABB Career Center, said, “So far, 603 earthquake-affected citizens have applied to our Career Center. 288 of our citizens started their new jobs. We are with you for a new start in Ankara”.

Stating that 603 earthquake survivors applied to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality to find a job, ABB Head of Business and Affiliates Department Murat Sarıarslan said, “The job interviews of 288 of these citizens with employers were positive. In the ABB Career Center, which is a partner in the employment processes of earthquake survivors who are trying to establish a new life in the capital, earthquake survivors are directed to job positions according to their qualifications and abilities and in line with the personnel demands of the companies, together with the consultancy services provided by expert teams.
