Contributing to all kinds of sports, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality makes skateboarding popular throughout the city. Metropolitan completed the construction of Körfez Skate Park, which is one of the sports investments it has realized with the vision of “Sports City Kocaeli”.

Kocaeli Metropolitan encourages sports and athletes in every field to raise healthy young people. In this context, the Metropolitan built a skate park in the Gulf.
The works carried out by the Department of Parks and Gardens were greatly appreciated by the youth. The ramps in the skate park area began to be used by young people.
