Two of the historical red trams on Istiklal Street, one of the symbols of Istanbul and Beyoğlu, were completely renovated and put into service by IETT in the past months.
Now, IETT, in cooperation with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality companies UGETAM and Metro Istanbul, offers historical tram trains; He gave trainings on many different topics covering railway technologies, driving techniques, signaling, electrical and mechanical elements, and possible malfunctions and repairs around the world.
In fact, 8 trainees who served successfully completed their training and exams and were entitled to receive an internationally valid professional certificate.
The certificates were presented to the Vatmans at a ceremony held in Taksim.
