On the first day of the 37th European Indoor Athletics Championships, which will start today at Istanbul Ataköy Athletics Hall, four of our athletes will take to the track.
Batuhan Çakır from the Turkish National Team is among the 17 athletes who will compete in the triple jump. Batuhan achieved his best score of this season with 15.79 in Bursa in the last week of January. Our athlete Batuhan Çakır will compete at 19:53.
Our athlete Tuğba Toptaş, in the women's 800 meters, where five series will be run, competed at 19:40. Emine Hatun Mechaal, who ran .10, will also compete in the 9.09.26 meters qualifiers (at 3000:20).
