Operating under Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Kayseri Vocational Education and Culture Inc. (KAYMEK), with its ready-made clothing course, sews handcrafted clothing products for earthquake victims in the container city of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality in Kahramanmaraş.
The Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to eliminate the negativities brought by the earthquake, which is the disaster of the century, and to heal the wounds in the earthquake area.
In the past weeks, Metropolitan Municipality KAYMEK A.Ş. Scarves and caps, which were hand-knitted by the trainees within the framework of the “Weave Kindness” campaign, were sent to the earthquake zones. This time, KAYMEK started to sew children's and adult clothes for earthquake victims with a ready-made clothing course.
In this context, with the 'ready-to-wear' course held at the KAYMEK Argıncık Facility, a large number of children's and adult clothes are sewn by the trainees for the earthquake victims in the container city where the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality was established in Kahramanmaraş.
On the other hand, the sewn children's and adult clothes are packed and made ready to be sent to the region.
