Metropolitan, which started the distribution of Subscription Discounted Cards that can be used by students, teachers and citizens over the age of 60 who are registered in the Ministry of National Education and Higher Education Institution system, on 14 December, has so far distributed 30 thousand 500 cards. FREE EXCHANGE
Citizens who can benefit from the application, which is a first in Kocaeli, need to replace their Kocaeli Cards with new cards suitable for subscription. Exchange transactions are made free of charge from the travel card offices in Izmit, Gebze and Gölcük. Authorities reported that the cards with the letter A in the right corner of the existing cards are suitable for the subscription application. In this context, cards starting with the letter A do not need to be renewed.
SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGES VALID FOR 30 DAYS
Package tariffs were determined in the 'Subscription Discount Cards' application, which is a first in Kocaeli. Within the scope of the application, 320 credits were determined as 80 TL, 640 credits as 160 TL, and 280 credits as 320 TL. The subscription application is used by paying the selected package fee. The subscription card is valid until the end of the 30th day from the date of loading. If the balance of the subscription card is not used after 30 days, it will not be carried over to the next month. If the monthly subscription package expires within 30 days, the subscription package can be purchased again. In addition, free, 50 percent and complementary transfer discounts are not applied to subscription discount cards.
41 PERCENT DISCOUNT ON SUBSCRIPTION APPLICATION
Those who switch to the subscription discount card benefit from a discount of up to 41 percent. The subscriber will be able to travel by paying the current discounted tariff, which does not load the discount package. For example, with the Subscription Discount card, students, teachers, over 60 years of age will be able to travel with 3,25 TL on domestic lines, while those who do not prefer the subscription discount card will travel for 5,50 TL.
APPLICABLE TO ALL LINES
Subscription discount cards, which will be applied for the first time in Kocaeli, will be valid on municipal and Transportationpark buses, private public buses, trams and sea transportation vehicles. Subscription cards cannot be used only on Sabiha Gökçen Airport Lines 250 and Line 250G. The subscription card will allow 30 minutes between the first and second boarding in the same vehicle and station. If the second boarding is made within 30 minutes, the subscription application will not be used and the TL balance in the same card will be deducted.
