Gendarmerie traffic teams both entertain the children affected by the earthquake in Malatya and carry out educational activities.

While the work continues for the families who were affected by the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 and placed in container and tent cities, the Gendarmerie traffic teams took action for the children.

The Mobile Traffic Training Truck of the Gendarmerie General Command started its operations for children living in the container city established in Malatya.

The earthquake survivors, who are taken to the training truck in groups, are shown the traffic simulation, and brochures and coloring books are given as gifts.

Afterwards, the children, who are given hands-on training on the track set up outside, have fun on the traffic track with battery and pedal cars.

Malatya Provincial Gendarmerie Command Traffic Branch Director Chief Sergeant Engin Ünal said that the Gendarmerie teams were mobilized for the earthquake victims.

Stating that the trainings are carried out both to improve the psychology of children and to raise awareness of traffic, Ünal said, “We brought the Traffic Training Truck, which is under the Gendarmerie General Command, to improve the psychology of our children affected by earthquakes. We are here to help our children living in container and tent cities, and to instill something good.” said.

Explaining that the children enjoyed the trainings very much and they had a fun time, Ünal said, "We are trying to instill traffic rules to them, and to raise good traffic drivers for the next generations, by watching the simulation inside the truck and with our pedal and battery powered vehicles in practice." used the phrase.

Stating that the trainings are planned to include all earthquake-affected children, Ünal said, “We ensure that children focus by drawing their attention in different directions. We think we are helping our children in this regard. We have planned to do these in all container and tent cities, we are acting within a plan. To date, we have given traffic training to nearly 3 of our children.” he said.
