Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality carried out disinfection work at the Livestock Exchange against the SAT-2 serotype disease known as alum.

The Metropolitan Municipality temporarily closed the Livestock Exchange against the SAT-2 serotype disease, known as alum, with the decision taken by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Resource Development and Affiliates Department teams removed and disposed of fertilizers in the stock market in order to prevent the spread of the disease. The teams, who washed the stock market area with disinfected water, sprayed the area after cleaning.

The Metropolitan Municipality will continue the work carried out to prevent the spread of the disease at specified periods.
