Izmir Metropolitan Municipality did not forget the citizens who were engaged in animal husbandry in the region after the earthquake disaster that shook Turkey. According to the decision taken at the second meeting of the February council, the Metropolitan Municipality will provide a total of 10 thousand sacks of feed support in 20 provinces so that the farmers in the earthquake zone can continue their production.

In the second meeting of the ordinary assembly meeting of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in February, aid to the citizens in the region due to the earthquake that affected 10 provinces in Kahramanmaraş was discussed. Due to the earthquake, the proposal on providing feed support for the citizens who are engaged in animal husbandry in the rural areas to continue their production activities was accepted unanimously. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mustafa Özuslu said, “This is a great disaster and its consequences will concern us all, and there will be days when nothing will be the same as before. For this reason, I would like to thank the sensitivity of all party groups.”

20 thousand sacks of feed will be sent

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality; It will send 20 thousand sacks of feed support to the region so that the producers in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa can continue production.
After completing the feed purchases, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Agricultural Services Department will quickly deliver the support to the regions.
