WHAT IS LIFE FAY?

The reason why the lines that can produce earthquakes of 5.5 and above, known as active faults or active faults, take this name is because they are faults that have experienced earthquakes in the historical period.

Slip surfaces of various scales in the earth's crust (the interface between two plates or platelets on which earthquakes occur and move) are called faults.

The vitality of the faults can be understood from the faulting signs that affect the historical structures along with their historical background.

Active Fault Maps form the basis of the information infrastructure necessary for the determination of earthquake hazard and reduction of earthquake damages.
