It has been reported that the total length of the highways built and renewed within the scope of the works carried out in the last five years in the rural part of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has reached 58 thousand kilometers.
According to the information obtained from the General Directorate of Transport and Transport of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as of 2018, 41 billion 600 million yuan has been allocated for the construction and renewal of highways in rural areas.
It was stated that cargo services can be provided to 95 percent of Xinjiang's rural areas, and that the strengthening of the transportation network greatly contributes to the development of rural industries.
The Xinjiang administration plans to allocate 6 billion yuan this year for the construction and renovation of the 8-kilometer-long highway.
