Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues its works without slowing down on the road connecting Sivas Boulevard and Kocasinan Boulevard within the scope of its efforts to raise the standards of comfortable and safe transportation in the city. In the project with a cost of 20 million TL, important infrastructure works such as drinking water line, storm water line, leaky storm water chimney and storm water grid have been completed.
Realizing his projects and investments in the field of transportation in various parts of the city, Dr. Under the chairmanship of Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to raise the standards of comfortable and safe transportation.
In this context, work continues at full speed on the road connecting Sivas Boulevard and Kocasinan Boulevard within the borders of Yıldızevler District. Preparations for opening to traffic on the road, which is approximately 1 km long, where asphalt works are about to be completed, have come to an end.
While 40 tons of asphalt was used in the divided road works with a zoning width of 4 meters, pedestrian paths and bicycle paths were built along the route. When the project is completed, a total of 200 square meters of walking path and 5 meters of bicycle paths will be put at the disposal of the people of Kayseri.
INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS COMPLETED
Within the scope of road works, the teams of the General Directorate of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (KASKİ) laid a 1000-meter-long drinking water line, 900-meter-long stormwater line, 14 leaky stormwater chimneys and 30 rainwater grids to meet the infrastructure needs of the region.
On the other hand, while the construction works of 2 junctions planned on the project route continue, asphalting works have been completed in the southern part of the junction in the direction of Kocasinan Boulevard, one of these junctions.
Within the scope of the construction works of the road with a cost of 20 million TL, all details such as horizontal and vertical markings, lighting poles, signaling systems for the safe and comfortable use of the road were considered.
