Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will establish a sports-themed park area on a total area of 23 thousand 44 square meters in Etimesgut, Gölbaşı and Beypazarı districts. It is planned to bring 3 parks, which will include jogging and walking paths, sports fields and areas where many sports activities will be held, to the Capital by 23 April 2023.
While the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality changes the face of the city with the green areas it has brought, it also continues its works on the construction of brand new green areas and parks.
Environmental Protection and Control Department, Etimesgut Bağlıca, Gölbaşı, which has put its signature under projects that give the city a breath of fresh air. Karşıyaka and Beypazarı Ayvaşık Mahallesi, rolled up its sleeves for 23 sports themed parks to be established on a total area of 44 thousand 3 square meters.
The parks, whose tenders were held, are expected to be completed by April 23, 2023.
SPORTS PLEASURE WITH GREEN
Capital residents from 7 to 70 will enjoy doing sports among nature in the sports-themed parks to be built in 3 districts. The cost of sports-themed parks to be built in Etimesgut, Gölbaşı and Beypazarı districts was determined as 10 million 488 thousand TL.
6 outdoor sports fields to be established on an area of 570 thousand 13 square meters in Etimesgut, 854 thousand 2 square meters in Gölbaşı and 620 thousand 3 square meters in Beypazarı, jogging and walking paths in parks, outdoor sports fields, fitness, children's playgrounds, resting and sitting areas will take place.
