Service Vehicle Overturned in Mardin: 6 People Lose Their Lives

In the accident that occurred as a result of the service vehicle carrying 11 public personnel in Mardin, 6 people lost their lives and 5 people were injured.

The statement made by the Mardin Governorship on the subject is as follows:

“On the Mardin-Midyat Highway, on 02.01.2023, at around 07.40 in the morning, a traffic accident occurred as a result of the driver of the Ford vehicle, which was on the way from Midyat to Mardin, in which 11 public officials lost control of the steering wheel. In the traffic accident, 6 public officials died and 5 public officials were injured. The injured were treated in Mardin Training and Research and Midyat State Hospital. We wish God's mercy on the deceased public officials, patience and condolences to their families, and a speedy recovery to our wounded. The judicial and administrative investigation regarding the incident continues.”
