President Erdogan Lifts Sentences of Three Convicts

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the February 28 trial, İlhan Kılıç (87) and Kenan Deniz (75), sentenced to a total of 12 years, 10 months and 24 days in prison for various crimes due to the Forensic Medicine Institute's report of his "huge husband", Osman Kartal (46) to be lifted due to "permanent disability".

According to the President's decision published in the Official Gazette, the remaining sentences of İlhan Kılıç and Kenan Deniz, who were sentenced to life imprisonment in 2018 by the Ankara 5th High Criminal Court, for the crime of "forcibly dismissing or forcibly forbidding the Board of Enforcement Deputies of the Republic of Turkey". It was removed due to the Forensic Medicine Institute's "husband situation" report.
