Mercedes-Benz has been running a long-term internship program called “PEP” (Professional Experience Program) for senior university students and graduate students since 2002. Within the scope of PEP, students have the opportunity to work part-time in the fields they are interested in and can be successful with the assessment center application and inventory assessments. During their 11-month internship, the trainees in the PEP team have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents with the projects given to them and gain special experiences related to business life. Students within the scope of PEP can attend full time during the summer months and 3 days during the semester they study; He works in Production, Sales-Marketing, R&D, After-Sales Services, Information Technologies (IT) and other departments (Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Human Resources, Purchasing, Corporate Communications).
The PEP team, which consists of candidates who are in the last year of universities, have a good command of at least one foreign language, and have been successful in the selection processes implemented by Mercedes-Benz, also creates the priority candidate pool to be evaluated in suitable positions for the employment of new graduates to be formed in the company in the long term.
