The historical Shepherd's School in Keçiören was restored by the Keçiören Municipality and turned into the National Struggle and Atatürk Museum. The landscaping and lighting work on an area of 39 thousand square meters around the renovated building, while preserving its historical texture, gave this place a different aesthetic day and night.
Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who said that the works initiated by the municipality after the protocol signed with the General Directorate of National Real Estate, were successfully completed, said, “Keçiören has been one of the most important headquarters of the liberation during the National Struggle. We turned the Shepherd's School, which was an important headquarters in the National Struggle, into a museum worthy of Turkish history. We made 39 thousand square meters of area look like an oasis. In addition to afforestation and planting work, we also carried out lighting work in our facility. Thus, we have added a different atmosphere to our museum, day and night.” said.
