Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, stated that they offer uninterrupted, safe and fast transportation with 7 different highway projects in Bursa, and that with the projects opened to traffic only today, a total of 212 million liras will be saved annually, and carbon emissions will decrease by 5 thousand 272 tons annually. Expressing that they have reduced the travel time on the route from 90 minutes to 45 minutes by raising the standard of Bursa Uludağ Road, which is among the projects, Karaismailoğlu said, “We have provided a more convenient and comfortable transportation opportunity to Uludağ, which hosts thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year.”

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the mass opening ceremony of highway investments and TEKNOSAB Junction groundbreaking ceremony in Bursa; “For us, who are full of love to serve our nation, the old one is not the new one. For us, every new day since we came to power means the energy and happiness of a new beginning. Of course, we wanted to make a stronger start in the new century of our Republic. We realize this wish with the opening of 7 different highway projects in Bursa within the framework of our strategy for the Century of Turkey and the foundation stone of TEKNOSAB Junction.

Pointing out that the works on the "Bursa - Yenişehir - Osmaneli High Speed ​​​​Train Line" and "Emek-YHT Station-Şehir Hospital Metro Line" projects continue successfully, meticulously and rapidly, Karaismailoğlu said that it will carry Bursa to the future, increase the competitive power of the city from industry to agriculture and help its development. He said that they have implemented very important projects that will support them and they are following them closely. Karaismailoğlu said, "We are aware of the importance of every project that will strengthen the transportation and communication network of this magnificent city," and explained that with this awareness, they have invested approximately 20 billion liras in Bursa's transportation and communication infrastructure in the last 43 years.

Karaismailoğlu, emphasizing that they support holistic development with the projects implemented and that they make a very important contribution to the production and employment of Bursa, said, “In 2003, we reached only 195 kilometers of divided road network in Bursa to 597 kilometers. We have completed many routes as divided roads such as Istanbul-Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Highway, Bursa Ring Highway, Bursa-İnegöl-Bozüyük-Ankara Border Road, Bursa-Karacabey Road, Bursa-Mudanya. In addition to these, we have completed and put into service many transportation projects.

TRAFFIC DENSITY WILL RELIEVE

Karaismailoğlu stated that they have now added various road sections that provide access to Bursa's city center, districts, holiday resorts and surrounding provinces to these investments, and continued his statement as follows:

“Bursa-Uludağ Road, Keles Ring Road, Engürücük Differential Level Junction, Bursa - Kayapa - Mustafakemalpaşa Road, Kurşunlu Ring Road, İnegöl Yenişehir State Road and Karacabey Bosphorus Road can be counted among them. We designed the Keles – (Tavşanlı-Domaniç) Junction Road, which also includes the Keles Ring Road, with a 14-kilometer-long bituminous hot mix pavement. In our project, which also includes the Kocasu-I Bridge with a span of 90 meters, we complete the 5 kilometer section, including the Keles Ring Road, and open it to traffic. We increased the driving comfort and safety by making the road pavement coated with bituminous hot mix. With the completion of all the works, Keles – (Tavşanlı-Domaniç) Junction Road will be preferred more as an alternative crossing point from Bursa to Kütahya. The project will also shorten the route by 600 meters, and travel time will be reduced from 17 minutes to 12 minutes. We have completed the İnegöl-Yenişehir State Road with a total length of 24,5 kilometers. With our project, which is located at one different level and 12 at-grade intersections, uninterrupted and comfortable transportation will be provided from İnegöl district to Yenişehir Airport. In addition, with our project, we also established safe transportation by relieving the heavy vehicle traffic density caused by the Hamzabey Woodworking Organized Industrial Zone. We also reduce the travel time between İnegöl and Yenişehir from 30 minutes to 20 minutes. We designed the Mudanya-(Bursa-Gemlik) Junction Road, which also includes the Kurşunlu Ring Road, as a 17-kilometer-long, bituminous hot mix paved road. In our project, which includes 405 viaducts with a total length of 3 meters and 3 at-grade junctions, we complete and put into service a section of 9 kilometers in total, including the 3 kilometers long Kurşunlu Ring Road, the 249 kilometers road section and 2 viaducts of 12 meters. With the project, we have increased traffic safety in the Kurşunlu Crossing, which is located in the neighborhood of the road that provides transportation between Mudanya and Gemlik districts. Moreover; With the road that also provides the logistic support of the TOGG Domestic Automobile Factory, we prevented the traffic density that may occur when the factory starts production. In another project realized on the Mudanya-Gemlik Road, we have established an uninterrupted flow of traffic in the region with the Engürücük Different Level Interchange.”

WE PROVIDED A COMFORTABLE AND COMFORTABLE TRANSPORTATION TO ULUDAĞ

Stating that the 2,5-kilometer section of Bursa-Kayapa-Mustafakemalpaşa Road, which was used as the old Bursa - Balıkesir Road, has a heavy traffic load in terms of providing transportation to Bursa city center today, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, in its current form, it is divided into 2 lanes with 2 departures and 4 arrivals. He said that they have designed the road, which serves in road standards, to meet the transportation demand, with a total of 3 lanes as 3 departures and 6 arrivals. Pointing out that the 2-kilometer section of the project has been completed and the traffic will be relieved with the widening of the road, Karaismailoğlu said, “We made another investment in Uludağ, one of the important winter tourism centers of our city and our country. We designed the Bursa – Uludağ Road, which provides access to Uludağ at the surface coating standard, with a length of 34 kilometers, and we made the road pavement coated with bitumen hot mix. By raising the physical and geometric standard of the road, we reduced the travel time on the route from 90 minutes to 45 minutes. We provided a more convenient and comfortable transportation opportunity to Uludağ, which hosts thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year. We expanded the 11-kilometer Taşlık-Ekmekçi Villages section of the Karacabey-Bayramdere-Yeniköy Provincial Road, which provides the transportation of Karacabey district to Yeniköy and the Marmara coast. We built the Bosphorus Ring Road. With the works carried out on a 13-kilometer section of the Karacabey-Bayramdere-Yeniköy Provincial Road, we have established a faster and safer transportation of traffic. We have increased the safety of life and property by taking the road section through Boğaz Village out of the settlement.”

WE OFFER FAST AND UNINTERRUPTED TRANSPORTATION SERVICE WITH OUR PROJECTS

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu stated that all these investments have started to increase road safety at the points they serve and to provide faster and uninterrupted road transportation services. savings will be achieved. Carbon emissions will also decrease by 187 thousand 25 tons per year. But we say don't stop, keep going. Within the scope of the 212 Transport and Logistics Master Plan, which is in line with the vision of the Century of Turkey, we will continue our investments with a strong determination both throughout the country, in the province and of course in Bursa. In this context, with the Bursa-Karacabey State Road Junction-Zeytinbağı Provincial Road and Teknosab Junction, the construction works of which have been started, we will provide the high standard connection of the Bursa Technology Organized Industrial Zone to the Istanbul-İzmir Highway and Bursa-Karacabey State Road. We will construct the Bursa-Karacabey State Highway Junction Zeytinbağı Provincial Road, which is 5 kilometers long, in the standard of a double-lane divided highway. We will establish the connection of living spaces and production centers in the region to the road with 272 junctions to be made at various points of the road section. On the other hand, we will provide the highway connection with a 2053 kilometer long, 10,5×6 lane, bituminous hot mix paved divided road and a 1,3 kilometer junction branch. With the project, especially on the road that will serve heavy vehicle traffic; We will provide traffic safety, life and property safety, and provide high standard and comfortable transportation services from the industrial facilities within TEKNOSAB to the highway and Bursa-Karacabey State Road. In addition, new investment areas needed by TEKNOSAB Industrial Zone will be created by integrating the ports, railway and air transportation systems in the region with road transportation projects.

Emphasizing that they continue to work day and night to open the horizon for the future of Bursa, Karaismailoğlu added that each investment, together with the employment under construction, will add vitality to the economy of the region and the country, together with many sectors when it is completed and put into service.
