Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyerhosted Sazali Bin Mustafa Kamal, Malaysia's Ambassador to Ankara. President Soyer gave information to the ambassador about the Botanical EXPO, which will be hosted by İzmir in 2026, and said, “EXPO 2026, which will open the door to international trade for all producers in the sector from seed to tree, will also increase the awareness of İzmir in the world.”

Expressing that he came to Izmir for the second time, Ambassador Kamal said, “I love Turkish culture, people and food. Izmir is a very old and historical city. My purpose of coming is to bring business people from Izmir and Malaysia together and to provide trade opportunities.”
Botanical EXPO 2026 in Izmir
