Registration has started for Game Development Trainings at the Game Entrepreneurship and Software Center (OYGEM), which was started by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in 2022.
The Game Entrepreneurship and Software Center (OYGEM), which was launched by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in 2022, continues its efforts to contribute to Turkey's game industry in Kule Izmir, located in the İZFAŞ Fairground.
OYGEM, with its academy, offers free trainings in many fields to those who want to take part in the game and software industry.
Registration has started for the OYGEM Academy Game Development Trainings organized in cooperation with OYGEM, İZFAŞ and Digi Game Startup Studio.
In the trainings to be given in the fields of Pixel Art Design, Game Design, Game Engines and Coding, and Music and Sound Effects Design, the courses will start on Monday, January 23, 2023. Unreal Engine and Amazon AWS workshops will also be held during the five-week training sessions.
Since the trainings will start from the basic level, anyone who is interested in game development and wants to advance their career in this field will be able to attend OYGEM Academy trainings. The trainings within the scope of the program will be held online through the Zoom program. In addition, the OYGEM Academy training program, broadcast link and event details will be shared on the Discord server registered during the application.
At OYGEM Academy Trainings, Game Engines and Coding Training will be given by Şamil Özçelik, Pixel Art Design Training will be given by Halil Onur Yazıcıoğlu, Music and Sound Effects Design Training will be given by Mehmetcan Güler and Game Design Training will be given by Ata Deniz Oktay.
