The folk dance course, which was initiated for private individuals within the Keçiören Municipality Disabled Counseling Center, continues. While individuals with disabilities begin to learn basic choreographies accompanied by trainers, synchronous works continue for mass demonstrations. Disabled individuals who contribute to the folk dance course in the rehabilitation process will also receive a certificate at the end of the training.

Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who stated that they are working towards the participation of disabled people in social life as well as gaining a profession, said, “In Keçiören Without Barriers, we not only keep our folk dances alive, but also contribute to the socialization of the disabled. We have been providing services for our disabled people since 1994. Our government also has many services to make life easier for our disabled citizens. As Keçiören Municipality, we continue to stand by our private individuals with our understanding of social municipality. In this sense, we will continue our cooperation with our public education centers without interruption.” said.
