Landscaping Works in Diyarbakır Central Mosque Completed

Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality completed the landscaping and landscaping works in the Merkez Mosque, which was built in Yenişehir district.

The Department of Parks and Gardens carried out green space, hard ground, walking path and afforestation works on an area of ​​21 thousand 500 square meters in Merkez Mosque within the scope of landscaping work.

13 thousand square meters of green space was considered as a green area in the landscaping works, where 500 thousand 8 square meters were built as hard ground.

The hard floor area consisted of 9 thousand square meters of mosque courtyard, 2 thousand 500 square meters of walking and 2 thousand square meters of asphalt road.

The teams created an aesthetic space on the floor of the mosque courtyard by using basalt stone and other different materials.

8 thousand 5 plants were planted on 53 thousand square meters

The Parks and Gardens Department decorated the area around the Merkez Mosque with 8 trees of 11 different species, 152 thousand 2 shrubs, 201 thousand 2 summer and winter seasonal flowers in a green area of ​​700 thousand square meters.

In order for the citizens to rest, 25 benches were installed in the designated places of the Merkez Mosque.

In the landscaping works, which also include ornamental pools, a playground was placed to ensure that the children had a good time.

In the work where 210 decorative lighting, 18 lighting poles and approximately 650 meters of stone-covered perimeter wall were built, an open parking lot was also built.
