The application period for the support to be provided by BUTEXCOMP to the new product and process development projects of SMEs in the technical textile and composite sectors operating in Bursa in accordance with the European Green Agreement has been extended. The application period for the 'Green Product Grant Program for SMEs' within the Composite Materials and Technical Textile Prototype Production and Application Center (BUTEXCOMP), led by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), has been extended until January 9, 2023.

Green Product Grant Program for SMEs

With the Green Product Grant Program for SMEs, it is aimed to support SMEs in the technical textile and composite sectors established in Bursa for new product and process development projects in line with the European Green Agreement. The application date for the 'Green Product Grant Program for SMEs', where the call documents are published on the butexcomp.org portal within the scope of the program, has been extended until Monday, January 9, 2023. Companies that want to apply will be able to complete their transactions by filling out the forms on BUTEXCOMP's website online. The 'Guidelines for Applicants' document on the website also provides detailed information to companies for the application process.

Projects to be Supported Will Be Announced in February

With the program, it is aimed to reduce input costs, increase commercialization volume and increase export potential for selected SMEs, and support network formation in the technical textile and composite value chain. A minimum of 5 different new green product programs will be supported as a result of the consultancy services to be provided to SMEs selected within the scope of the Green Product Grant Program, which was implemented to support networking in the value chain of the technical textile and composite material sectors and to promote new green products. The evaluation and selection process of the applications will be completed by the experts in the field in January. In February 2023, after the public announcement of the projects to be supported, grant contracts will be signed.
