President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the “2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan”, which will be a guide document for institutions and organizations serving in the fields of transportation and communication, has been prepared.
In the Presidential circular on the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan published in the Official Gazette, President Erdoğan stated that the future is being designed today with the projects and services offered on a global scale in the fields of transportation and communication.
Emphasizing that bringing a scientific-based, environmentally friendly, sustainable and history-sensitive transportation infrastructure to Turkey at the center of logistics, mobility and digitalization is their most important goal, President Erdoğan said:
In this context, with the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan, which is a guiding document for institutions and organizations serving in the sector, prepared with a rational and participatory understanding, policy measures regarding land, railway, airway and seaway investments have been determined. It will be published on the official website of the Ministry of Infrastructure (uab.gov.tr).
I request the necessary actions to be taken by the relevant institutions and organizations to carry out the activities to be carried out within the scope of the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan and to implement the decisions taken with precision.”
