Within the scope of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) Academy Project, the applied training series organized with the support of Bursa Hairdressers Association (BKB) and Hairdressers Association (BKD) to meet the qualified employment needs of the hairdressing and beauty salons sector has been completed. Martyr Ömer Halisdemir Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School hosted the trainings held for students studying in the field of "Beauty and Hair Care" in vocational high schools.

BTSO, which has carried out important works with the aim of improving vocational and technical education in Bursa, organized the “Applied Training Series for the Hairdresser and Beauty Salons Sector's Access to Qualified Employment”. In the trainings held with the participation of students from 5 different vocational and technical Anatolian high schools in Bursa, the intricacies of the hairdressing profession, from hair cutting techniques to coloring, were conveyed to the students by masters. BTSO Assembly Member Erhan Ceren, who made evaluations about the trainings, noted that they aim to create a solution to the problem of qualified personnel, which is the most important need of the sector, by supporting the potential of the youth in vocational high schools.

“WE ARE HERE TO TRAIN QUALIFIED STAFF”

Stating that they want to build a bridge between vocational high schools and businesses in Bursa, Erhan Ceren said that the training organized within the scope of BTSO Academy project is very valuable in terms of bringing sector professionals and students together. Erhan Ceren, who thanked BTSO, BKB and BKD for their contributions to the organization of education, said, “Vocational high schools are very important for our sector. Our young friends who grow up here are employed to meet the needs of the industry. In this context, with this training project we have implemented, we have taken an important step towards the future of our profession while supporting the education of future hairdressers. We met with young people and shared our experiences. Our esteemed President İbrahim Burkay and BTSO Management gave full support to our training programs. The participation of our youth was also at a high level. We can see that light in their eyes. Hopefully we will reach our goal.” he said.

Bursa Hairdressers Association President Elif Ceren said that they held a very enjoyable event with students from 5 different schools. Stating that they are excited to have the opportunity to touch young people with their ideas, Elif Ceren said, “As BKB, our aim is to share our own experiences with young people. It was a pleasant organization. We were very pleased that the demand was so high.” said.

BKB Head of Education İlker Hüseyin Tan said that the aim of the event was to reach students and convey the experiences of those who came from the sector. Stating that it was very valuable that they had the opportunity to mutually explain how they achieved this development, Tan said, “This event, which was held within the scope of BTSO Academy, in cooperation with BKB and our association, was very successful. The number of participants pleased us. Young people's interest was very high. We hope that this will be the case in future trainings as well.” used his statements.

APPLIED TRAININGS WERE HELD

BKB and Hairdressers Association Bursa Provincial Representative Levent Akan, under the leadership of BTSO; Expressing that they explained the hairdressing industry to the students with the cooperation of BKB and KD, he noted that they realized the first leg of the project. Bursa Hairdressers Union Member Kader Akçay thanked all the institutions that contributed to the organization of the organization.

In the meetings that lasted for 3 weeks, coloring, cutting, make-up and masterclass trainings were given to the students in a practical way. Students studying in the field of beauty and hair care services of vocational and technical Anatolian high schools showed great interest in the trainings.
