Stating that there are certain features that make each city stand out, but Bursa has more than one feature, Mayor Aktaş said, “Thermal and spas are one of these features. Bursa is one of the cities that has an important place in our country with both the abundance and quality of its healing water resources. Bursa is also a member of the European Historical Thermal Cities Association (EHTTA). It has gained a touristic quality with its hot springs, and has become a center that attracts tourists for four seasons with its healing waters as well as its historical and natural beauties. There are countless healing water sources both in the center of Bursa and in its districts.

It will strengthen Gemlik

Stating that the facilities known as Terme in Gemlik have served the people of the region for many years in their old form, Mayor Aktaş said, “We started the process by making a tender for this place in 2017. Subsequently, the process slowed down with the developing pandemic process and the change of contractors. Necessary tender work has now been done. Our construction has now reached the level of 55 percent. We are planning to complete and put it into operation by June 2023. This place will be in an assertive position throughout Turkey. We are a city with tourism-related goals. Gemlik is already in an important position. This facility will give a serious power to Gemlik. It will be a serious center of attraction. We will hold the supply tender soon. It will be finalized at a cost of approximately 90 million. When it is finished, it will be an important gain for Gemlik and Bursa. Thank you to those who contributed. Good luck,” he said.
