In this context, the Metropolitan, upon the instruction of Mayor Tahir Büyükakın, this time brings a park to Derince, where the passion for skateboarding, which has become increasingly widespread in Turkey, can be practiced with peace of mind in Kocaeli.

Metropolitan, which previously brought a Skate Park (skateboarding track) to Başiskele, and which was built next to the Karamürsel indoor swimming pool with the opening ceremony attended by the President Büyükakın, now puts 840 square meters of skateboarding area into service, and now it is within the Derince Healthy Life Park that young people can feel safe. will build the Skate Park where you can experience the passion of adrenaline. In this context, the teams of the Department of Parks and Gardens, which laid the bottom concrete of the Skate Park area, which will be established on an area of 260 square meters, also started the assembly of modular parts. Aiming for young people to enjoy Skate Park without danger and in safety, the Metropolitan will create skateboard rink areas in all districts, respectively.
