DS Automobiles Signs Stoffel Vandoorne for Season 9 of Formula E

The DS Penske Formula E Team announced that it has joined the reigning world champion Stoffel Vandoorne for the 2022-2023 season, in addition to continuing on its path with driver Jean-Eric Vergne. DS Automobiles will partner with Penske Autosport for the next four seasons of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The 8th season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship ended with the race held in Seoul, with the second generation cars making their final laps on the track. During the second generation period, electric vehicles that participated in the race by DS Automobiles became the most successful brand and vehicle in this field, winning two drivers' championships and two constructors' championships. During this period, the French team had 10 titles, 15 pole positions and 28 podiums.

World champion Stoffel Vandoorne and Jean-Eric Vergne, the only double world champion in Formule E history, will race together. Having achieved many victories and podiums since joining the team, "JEV" is in the French team for the fifth consecutive season.

DS Automobiles' experience on street circuits around the world informs teams working on current and future electric vehicles developed for everyday use on the roads. DS Automobiles aims to win more world championships with Penske Autosport, Stoffel Vandoorne and Jean-Eric Vergne, while providing technological support to the latest vehicles that will rely solely on electric power from 2024.
