Bahçelievler Municipality opened the Cancer Early Diagnosis Screening and Training Center (KETEM) to provide early detection and screening in cancer. In the center, where early diagnosis of cancer saves lives, screening services for breast, cervix (cervix) and colorectal cancers have started.

Bahcelievler Mayor Dr. In his speech at the opening, Hakan Bahadır stated that early diagnosis in cancer saves lives and said, “Cancer is a fact of our lives. We will detect cancer cases early by doing the necessary screenings of our neighbors here. Here, women over the age of 40 will have a mammogram once a year. We will also do the necessary tests for bowel cancer here. Our services within the scope of scanning will be free of charge. Good luck to our neighbors. We are transforming Bahçelievler into a health city with our Family Support Center, Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center, home health care at home, and special services for the disabled.” said.
The opening ceremony of the center, which will serve in Bahçelievler Yenibosna Merkez Mahallesi Altınyıldız ASM, was attended by Bahçelievler District Governor Dr. Mehmet Boztepe, Mayor of Bahçelievler Dr. Hakan Bahadır, Bahçelievler District Health Director Dr. Serap Sarıhan Akkum and citizens attended.
