Work in Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building Continues Without Problem

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç examined the works of Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building, which will cost 1 billion 200 million TL, which is aimed to serve 8 million passengers and whose construction continues rapidly.

The work program required for the rapid completion of the construction of the Airport New Terminal Building, whose cost is calculated as 1 billion 200 million TL and the construction works are carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of DHMI, continues without any problems. While the project focuses on finishing the exterior and roof covering, asphalt, border, aircraft parking area, concrete productions, infrastructure works and fine construction works are continued.

Mayor Büyükkılıç, who meticulously followed the construction works of the Kayseri Airport New Terminal Building and Apron Construction Project from the first day until now, inspected the point reached in the works.

President Büyükkılıç, who received information about the latest situation from the authorities, thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu and everyone who contributed to this great project for Kayseri.

President Büyükkılıç, who examined all the sections in the project and received detailed information, was accompanied by Deputy Secretary General Hamdi Elcuman during the examination.

Within the scope of the project, 2 luggage conveyors, including 3 international lines and 5 domestic lines, power center building, Apron 9 narrow body, Apron area with taxiway 90 thousand square meters, number of bellows 6, one wide body, entrance guard building and the new ARFF building, the new terminal will consist of 51 thousand square meters of infrastructure production, construction and renovation as domestic and international common terminal.

The new project, which will reveal the real aviation potential of Kayseri, one of the important industrial, commercial and cultural centers of Turkey, will become the exit gate of Kayseri with its modern architecture.
