Family and Social Services Minister Derya Yanık announced that applications for the winter period have started for the Natural Gas Consumption Support, which was implemented with a budget of 3 billion TL for households in need.
Making statements regarding the Natural Gas Consumption Support, which was implemented with a budget of 3 billion TL, Minister Yanık stated that the payments were made for the 1st period covering the months of March/April, and announced that they provided a total of 331 million TL support to more than 114,2 thousand households.
Applications continue via e-Government
Minister Yanık stated that the applications continue through the e-Government within the scope of the Natural Gas Consumption Support Program and said, “Our citizens who want to benefit from our support will be able to apply by filling out the necessary information on the 'Social Assistance Application Service' screen offered by our Ministry through the system. In this context, we will offer this support to our citizens who currently reside in settlements with natural gas supply and who have a residential type natural gas subscription in their households.” said.
“Tenants will also be able to benefit from the support”
Noting that they have also made new arrangements for more households to benefit from the Natural Gas Consumption Support Program, Minister Yanık said, “Applications for the winter period have started for the Natural Gas Consumption Support, which was implemented for the households in need. We also included our tenants who were not included in our previous period in the scope of support. Accordingly, our citizens living in residential households, residing as landlords or tenants, who meet the application requirements, will be able to benefit from the support. made a statement.
Reminding that the Natural Gas Consumption Support is determined for two periods based on the thermal map and the amount will vary between 450 TL and 150 TL annually, Minister Yanık said, “We will give the Natural Gas Consumption Support to households using both postpaid and prepaid meters. After the applications of our citizens in need through e-Government are approved, our citizens with rights will be able to benefit from the support by going to the PTT and presenting their invoices. On the other hand, the support amount of our citizens using prepaid meters will be reflected on their cards. he said.
“5 percent additional payment will be made to chronic patients with a health report”
Stating that they will make additional payments to chronic patients who have a health report or to citizens who depend on the device, Minister Yanık said, “Our citizens will have to process their disease report into the system during their application. We will pay 5 percent more to the households where our patients live, in addition to the support amount we have determined.” used the phrases.
In order for households to benefit from the “Natural Gas Consumption Support” program implemented by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the conditions that the applicant must meet are as follows:
- be a Turkish citizen,
- Applying to the support program through the e-Government portal,
- Being residing in the district/town where natural gas supply is provided,
- Having a natural gas subscription connected to a prepaid or postpaid meter at the residence address,
- The invoice to be paid belongs to the residential subscriber group,
- Decision of entitlement by the relevant SYD Foundation
