The new bridge, which was built in Kanlıdere with an investment of 35 million TL by Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and will be opened on Thursday, September 15, received full marks from the citizens. Citizens stated that the project was completed within the targeted 89-day period and said, “Our President Hayrettin Güngör completed the new bridge in 89 days as promised.”
Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality continues to implement its investments within the framework of the 2022 Transportation Master Plan. In this context, the new bridge of Kanlıdere, which was brought to life with an investment of 35 million TL, whose foundation was laid on June 17, and whose completion time was set for 89 days, is put into service. The bridge, which was completed in the targeted time like the Tevfik Kadıoğlu Köprülü Junction project, will be opened to traffic on Thursday, September 15. The project, which will greatly reduce the traffic density of the city center, was welcomed by the tradesmen and citizens of the region.
It will serve our city for many years
Stating that he was a tradesman in Kanlıdere, Mustafa Aksu said, “A new bridge has been added to our region by our Metropolitan Municipality. It will be opened and put into service tomorrow. The work done is really beautiful. Maximum attention was paid to prevent the tradesmen in the region from being adversely affected by the works.” Another tradesman, Mehmet Büyüksakallı, said, “I have been doing business here for 20 years. A very beautiful bridge was brought to Kanlıdere by our Metropolitan Municipality. Hopefully, it is an investment that will serve our city for many years to come. With the commissioning of this bridge, the traffic in the region will also be relieved," he said.
Completed in Promised Time
Stating that the bridge was completed within the promised 89 days, Ogün Aydınlı said, “Our Metropolitan Mayor, Mr. Hayrettin Güngör, said at the groundbreaking ceremony that the bridge would be completed and put into service within 89 days. Our President promised and the bridge was completed in 89 days. Hopefully it will be opened to traffic tomorrow. It is an extremely important project especially for the transportation of the people of the region.” In his statement, Adem Başoğlu said, “I would like to thank our President, Hayrettin Güngör, who brought such a beautiful bridge to our city in a short period of 89 days.”
The Best Investment Brought to Our Region
Mahmut Caykaçlı, one of the tradesmen of the region, said, “I am a shoemaker in Kanlıdere. I've been here for 17 years. Our region was experiencing great difficulties in terms of transportation. Thanks to Hayrettin Güngör, our President has brought a new bridge to Kanlıdere. Hopefully, thanks to the new bridge, the traffic of our region will be relieved,” said Mehmet Kabak, “I have been working as a tradesman in Kanlıdere for 23 years. We thank our President Hayrettin Güngör for the new bridge he brought to Kanlıdere Street. God bless you. Especially as tradesmen, we were very disturbed by the intensity experienced on this road. Hopefully, thanks to the new bridge, the traffic of our region will breathe a sigh of relief.” Stating that he has been a tradesman in Kanlıdere for 35 years, Mehmet Tevfik Küsmüş said, “It is the best investment that has been brought to our region. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor Hayrettin Güngör.”
