'Bursa City Choir Concert' Held

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Bursa from the Greek occupation, the Bursa City Choir Concert was organized by the Bursa City Council Women's Assembly. 30 Turkish music associations, 17 conductors, 20 instrumentalists and 200 chorists, who contributed to Turkish music in Bursa, took the stage, and an unforgettable evening was enjoyed by music lovers.

The 2th anniversary celebrations of the end of the Greek occupation in Bursa, which lasted 2 years, 2 months and 100 days, continue with various programs. The 'Bursa City Choir Concert', organized by the Bursa City Council Women's Assembly in cooperation with the State Classical Turkish Music Chorus and Bursa Orchestra Branch Directorate, was held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Center with the intense participation of art lovers. Before the concert, the handicrafts exhibition prepared by Bursa City Council Women's Assembly members was opened.

President Aktaş, who said that they celebrated the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Bursa from the Greek occupation, with various activities, said that 'Puşide-i Siyah' was covered with the instruction of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk 102 years ago due to the occupation of Bursa and Mehmet Akif's 'Bülbül' He reminded me that he wrote his poem. Reminding that Bursa was the scene of massacres at least as much as what happened in Srebrenica at that time, Mayor Aktaş said, “When Bursa was liberated from the occupation, 'Puşide-i Siyah' was removed from the parliamentary platform. The liberation of Bursa also heralded the great liberation. We are much stronger now 100 years later. In order not to fall into those situations again, we must increase our unity and solidarity, our loyalty to our country and our homeland more.
