Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, announced that an important stage has been left behind with the completion of the concrete of the deck at the Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct, which will uninterruptedly connect the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia Regions, and emphasized that the construction of Turkey's highest pedestal viaduct is nearing the end.

Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, said in a written statement that they acted with the awareness that investments are one of the important milestones in raising social welfare. Emphasizing that they have surrounded Turkey with a high standard road network throughout the last 20 years, without saying east-west, north-south, Karaismailoğlu stated that the Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct is one of the most important projects that are still under construction in the field of transportation in Turkey.

Pointing out that Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct will uninterruptedly connect the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia Regions, Karaismailoğlu said, “Este Hadimi Viaduct, which is designed on 42 middle piers and 166 side piers, whose heights vary between 8 – 2 meters according to the Balanced Console construction method, is the highest in our country with this feature. and will be the longest balanced cantilever bridge. The Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct, which was designed as two different bridges resting on the same foundation according to a 12,50 meter gauge double road platform, will serve the traffic as a total of 2 lanes from 4 lanes each on the round trip route. With the completion of the Eğiste Hadimi Viaduct, which was built to increase the standards of the existing two-way road and in this context, traffic, road and driving safety, approximately 4 meters will be shortened compared to the existing road. Egiste Viaduct will shorten your travel time by 400 minutes. With the completion of Eyiste Viaduct, time, travel comfort and driving safety and road standards will be increased on the Konya-Hadim-Tashkent-Alanya route, which is one of the important arteries of Turkey's north-south axis, and a significant contribution will be made to the country's economy by saving time and fuel.”
