Members of the German Tramway Friends Association, which organizes trips to get to know and promote the cities that operate tramways, came to Samsun and visited SAMULAŞ, a subordinate of the Metropolitan Municipality.
Members of the German Tramway Friends Association, which aims to promote rail systems and trams from various European countries, came to Samsun. A group of 16 people from Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium and Austria visited SAMULAŞ. The light rail system line from the warehouse area to Tekkeköy station was introduced to the delegation, which toured the business building, traffic control center and workshop area of SAMULAŞ. Members of the German Tramway Friends Association stated that they liked the working system and tram sets of trams in Samsun.
The members of the association thanked Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir, SAMULAŞ General Manager Gökhan Beler and the employees for hosting them.
