Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, pointed out that the distance with the 64-kilometer Siirt-Pervari Road will be shortened by approximately 8 kilometers, and stated that with the opening of the project in 2025, a total of 82 million liras will be saved. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Siirt-Pervari Road. Karaismailoğlu stated that as the Ministry, they are working hard all over Turkey for the development of Turkey and increasing the welfare level of the people, adding that he has come to the ancient city where Anatolian and Mesopotamian cultures are blended for the fourth time.

WE SPENDED CLOSE TO 7 BILLION LIRA ON TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATIONS INVESTMENTS IN SİİRT

Reminding that they inaugurated the Botan Çayı Begendik Bridge on July 11, 2020 with the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Zarova Bridge, again with the presence of President Erdoğan, on December 4, 2021, Karaismailoğlu said, “During the 20-year period of our governments, all transportation systems across the country Our giant investments are getting the share they deserve in Siirt from the big investments we have put into service, and they will continue to do so. To date, we have spent nearly 7 billion liras for Siirt's transportation and communication investments. We took Siirt's divided road length from 7 kilometers and increased it 18 times to 129 kilometers. We also increased the length of the hot bituminous paved road in the province from 2 kilometers to 90 kilometers. During the period of our governments, in Siirt; We have completed 168 kilometers of single road construction and improvement. We put into service 2 bridges with a total length of 756 thousand 24 meters.

WE WILL PROVIDE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TRANSPORTATION

Emphasizing that the total project cost of 8 different highway projects in Siirt province has reached 8 billion liras, Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the Siirt-Pervari highway, the foundation of which is being laid, is one of these important investments. The Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu, said, “The length of our project, which we started the construction of, is 64 kilometers” and continued his speech as follows:

"In project scope; Along with 666 viaducts with a total length of 2 meters, there are also 500 bridges with a total length of 10 meters. With the completion of our Siirt-Pervari Road; By raising the physical standards of the road, we will provide safer and more comfortable transportation. The road distance will be shortened by approximately 8 kilometers compared to the existing road. With the road that will provide access to the Siirt Organized Industrial Zone, there will be economic and socio-cultural revival of the regions on the changing route. It will also be easier to transport all agricultural products grown in the region, especially Siirt pistachio, to and from the country. Our road project will also provide logistical support for our counter-terrorism activities. With the opening of our project in 2025, in one year; We will save 62 million liras in total, 20 million liras from time and 82 million liras from fuel. With our road project, there will be a reduction in 4 tons of exhaust emissions."

Karaismailoğlu stated that with this road project, they will also complete the earthworks and art works of the 18-kilometer-long Eruh Municipality inner-city roads that are under construction within the borders of Siirt province this year. announced that they aim to open the 45-kilometer Batman-Beşiri-Kurtalan Road and the 24.4-kilometer Siirt-Eruh Road in 15.
