Tunç SoyerHe stated that Tire Slaughterhouse will make a great contribution to the district and animal husbandry. Minister Tunç Soyer“Our investments will continue in all our districts, both in Tire and in İzmir. We see the institutional power and capacity of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality the most in times of crisis. We continue to invest while the cost of living and high inflation hurt people. Tire Slaughterhouse has the capacity to slaughter 50 bovine and 100 ovine animals per day. It performs a very meaningful function. Because until now, small producers had to travel 100 kilometers to slaughter their animals. Now we have it at your fingertips. Slaughtering is done in a hygienic way in extremely modern conditions. Disposal of waste is done with modern methods. We are proud of making a well-deserved investment in our Tire and İzmir. We are planning to open it in September," he said.

Tire Mayor Salih Atakan Duran said, “Our region is a producing region, our President Tunç SoyerWhen we told him our need, they found it appropriate, we thank him very much. We are very happy to see that this modern slaughterhouse is ready.”

“We must protect the fertility of this land”

President Soyer also visited Osman Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of Tire Dairy Cooperative, within the scope of his program in the district. President Soyer said: “This geography is an agricultural region. İzmir is a tourism and industrial city, but it is actually an agricultural city. Not only İzmir, but the whole Aegean Region… If we want to establish a self-sufficient economy, we have no choice but to protect the fertility of these lands.”

“Kissing each other's hands”

Stating that they will continue to buy sheep and goat milk from the producers, President Soyer said, “If you leave the producer unattended, this is the point reached. Isn't the import regime the same thing? They started to import, now we are importing everything. Like a snowball… You cut the producer out of production. Import means that the producer gives up production from his land. We are living in poverty, high cost of living and high inflation. This is where these policies will bring in. There is no plan, it is not clear who will produce what and how much. Nothing is certain… There is no ministry that can tell the producer what to produce and what to gain. It's not the local government's job, it's the ministry's job, but it doesn't exist. How resistant our producers are to such poverty and poverty that they can still continue. Kissing each other's hands. Despite all the difficulties, it continues. Since nobody confiscates it, we are pondering what we can do. It is not possible for us to be a spectator to this,” he said.

Osman Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of Tire Dairy Cooperative, thanked President Soyer for his visit and his efforts.

“Ours is a brother-sister relationship”

Mayor Soyer, who was also a guest of Tire Mayor Salih Atakan Duran's office, said, “We owe our harmony to mutual goodwill, respect and love, and most of all to our love for our country. We are thinking about what we can do more. It turns out very good results. Ours turned into a brother-sister relationship. That's why we are very happy, we are proud of everything he does, and we will continue to stand by him."

We do business, we are happy if we can put a smile on the faces of the people living in this land. There is nothing more valuable than that. Before the end of 2022, we will have made the tender for the site and the project of the treatment plant needed in the region. In 2023, we will lay the foundation. We will definitely do this during our tenure.”

"We don't even know what the price of milk will be tomorrow"

Stating that they are devoted to the soil of the country with love, President Soyer said, “This country is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We have a tremendous ancient history and culture behind us. We are on fertile land. Do we deserve this poverty? Do we deserve this cost of living, inflation? This is not destiny. They are mismanaging us, applying the wrong policies. This is the point they got. This poverty and poverty do not suit fertile lands. Our children living on this land must have a bright future. Everyone deserves it. We are all pessimistic about our children. We don't even know how much the milk will cost tomorrow. Don't let any of you black out, this story will end."
