Ziraat Bank and Agricultural Credit Will Provide Credit for Agricultural Electricity Production Value

Ziraat Bank and Agricultural Credit Cooperatives will be able to extend operating loans up to 10 million liras within the scope of agricultural electricity production cost.

The Presidential Decision on the Amendment of the Decision of the Ziraat Bank and Agricultural Credit Cooperatives on the Granting of Low-Interest Investment and Operational Credits for Agricultural Production was published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, Agricultural Electricity Cost was added to the table regarding the production issues in the decision.

Thus, operating credits of up to 100 million Turkish Liras can be extended to irrigation unions under the Law on Irrigation Unions, irrigation cooperatives under the Law of Cooperatives, and real or legal person agricultural producers, regardless of the subject of production, for the payment of electricity bills subject to the agricultural electricity tariff. .

Payments of irrigation cooperatives and irrigation unions, as well as real or legal person agricultural producers, related to accumulated, past due, unpaid, and installment agricultural electricity debts will also be handled within this scope.

In order to benefit from this loan for irrigation cooperatives and irrigation unions and real or legal person agricultural producers who want to benefit from the title of Agricultural Electricity Fee, there is no accumulated agricultural electricity debt, past the normal payment date, unpaid, not in installments, and if there are debts to be paid in installments. There will be no overdue payments.

The decision entered into force on the date of its publication, to be applied to the loans to be extended from the date of its publication.
